My Process
These are some of my steps to ensure the quality of my work.
Planning
I like to plan my shoots, especially when I know the area well. However, the ocean is unpredictable, with fast-changing seasons and weather, so I often adapt and embrace the moment.
During
I let my subjects stay natural, using creativity to capture stunning shots in Norway’s challenging conditions. Unexpected elements, like a surprise creature or unique setting, often lead to my best work. With good weather, careful planning, and creativity, I usually achieve my vision and more.
Post Editing
I aim to balance realism and artistry, focusing on color correction and contrast to highlight striking subjects. Underwater photography demands we bring out the best in our raw files to showcase the beauty of these environments.
